UCCThese days, Unique Custom Cycles - UCC, is run by Ronna Norén, but the whole thing originally started with his twin brother Benna and their buddies Stefan Farnell and Gordon “Gugge” Rooth.
UCC officially became a company in 1995, but the story goes way further back. Ronna and Benna Norén’s Triumph choppers were already showing up in magazines in the ’80s. Stefan Farnell was in the game even earlier — the legendary chopper mag Hojmagasinet featured his beast of a Fastbob big-bore stroker all the way back in 1986. But the real OG is Gordon Rooth, who was building long-fork Harleys in the late ’70s. His first chop made it into the iconic Swedish custom mag Colorod back in 1981. |
